Cost of Living
I’ve lived in Norman for 45 years and absolutely love the small town feel with the big city appeal. In 2009, Forbes magazine ranked the Oklahoma City area as the second best housing market. Just the year before Money magazine named Norman the sixth best small city in the United States.
The Norman Economic Development Coalition listed Norman as a community whose housing cost and cost of living are below the national average. According to the 2014 Cost of Living Index (COLI), Norman was the second least expensive city to live in the U.S.
